The shooting occurred shortly before 6 a.m. Thursday on the first block of Hoffman Avenue in Trenton, according to , Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri.
Trenton police reportedly received two Shot Spotter activations, both for multiple rounds of gunfire.
Police found a 50-year-old man laying on the ground between residences at 165 and 167 Hoffman Ave., Onofri said. The victim, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead a short time later, the prosecutor said.
The victim was identified as Douglas Munn, 50, of Trenton.
No arrests had been made.
